The company was established in 2005 by Caroline Glitter-Jensen. The Nanoou brand is unique, well-worked design with an emphasis on style, a single expression and quality textiles. All of Nanoou's clothes are made from certified organic cotton. The style is clear and clean with forms that children can immediately relate to. Some of the first series from Nanoou was based on circles as motives, immutable form, the first a small child recognises. Nanoou is comfortable and easy to move in. The colour choices are stimulating and the series offers the opportunity to "mix and match" the various models and colours across the entire line of Nanoou clothing. Nanoou started making basic clothing such as body suits, nightwear, underwear, etc. but have expanded the collections due to high demand from customers for other products as well.
